Personal Investments • Mega Backdoor Roth-Am I thinking about it correctly?

1. Assuming I make 30K post tax contributions to 401k and then roll it over to Roth
And then after a year or so I need to withdraw 30K from Roth, I assume it will not attract any penalty or tax as I am just withdrawing contribution not growth? Is this accurate?
Depends. When you say "roll it over to Roth" do you mean Roth IRA or Roth 401k? Automatic or by phone call?

You told us you can now do mega-backdoor....but that can mean several different things. You need to be more specific about how your plan offers the mega-backdoor.
