Total stock market funds are more tax efficient than bond funds. Perhaps this was the reason.They had our taxable accounts in the total stock market index fund and all of our roth IRA's in Bond funds.

Market timing and keeping money out of the market is a very poor investment strategy. Select an asset allocation, invest your money according to that asset allocation, and stay the course.I was planning on a rebalance when the next bear market happens, if it happens.
