Well you know, i (and many others) have a fair bit of VBTLX in our portfolios (either alone or as part of balanced funds), and VBTLX has a fair bit of long bonds in it. So we're all in that same boat too. Ah well, these things happen.
The nice thing, i guess, is that if we hold it as a balanced fund, we've been automatically buying it when it's down. It will eventually go back up again and at that point we'll be happy we were forced to buy it when it was down. And in the meantime we can enjoy the higher interest payments i guess.
