It does seem like Vanguard has historically avoided spending money on UX though. IIRC, they still had an analysis tool on their site using some outdated technology (can't remember if it was a Flash app or a Java applet) years after every other site had moved on to something newer.I don't believe any of those asks require more money. A bad UX design isn't cheaper than a good UX design, for example.
Not that I minded, it worked for me. Honestly I would've been fine if they never redesigned the UX in the first place. The 2014 Vanguard site design was better than the 2024 site design in my book.
