I'm a long time TIAA participant. I'm retired.
My very old accounts are all TIAA Traditional. I'm planning to annuitize them all. I'm buying a pension.
I keep some money in TIAA Traditional in GSRA accounts. The flexible kind. It is my tax deferred savings account. Some of that I Roth convert so it will be tax free.
Eventually I think I'll use mostly the Social Choice fund. The expense rate is reasonable. It has about 60/40 stocks and bonds. 70/30 domestic/international. About what I'd like. I'm not sure what TIAA uses for social choice, but I assume there is some overlap. It seems to perform about as well as any other blended fund.
