Personal Consumer Issues • Costco - best items to buy to reduce grocery bill

Hi! New Costco member and feeling overwhelmed. 2 adults and 2 kids under 10. My goal is to save money on my grocery bill and wondering which products you recommend that will provide the most value. Any tips and tricks to shopping there?

Also- anyone use their delivery option? Yay or nay to save money/time?

Following items are cheaper than elsewhere I have found, or better quality at same price:
1. wild caught salmon
2. organic chicken
3. whole milk yogurt, eggs, raw cheese
4. nuts, EVOO, avocado oil

I am sure I am forgetting some things. Other than that, costco travel always gets me cheaper rates -- for car rentals, and cruises, hotel rentals.

I agree with other comments, costco is more about value and may not necessarily save you $$.
