For me it was the day after they first showed up that I could buy more. (I meant to check if I could buy more in other Fidelity accounts as well but forgot. Easy enough to move some in any case. ETA: just realized I could check with my IRA and as I mostly expected it did not work.)Transferred FRSXX from Wells but how do I buy more? When I go to buy Fidelity says I don’t have the minimum. Do I need to wait a few more days for transfer to fully settle?
Indeed, and no fees, at least not yet, but I did read the fee chart fairly closely and only saw a fee noted for whole-account transfers. (They have also done away with account fees.) The whole ACATS process was fairly efficient--I placed the request over the weekend, got a confirmation message from Fidelity first thing Monday, nothing was visible through Tuesday, Wednesday the funds were visible in my Fido account and the history said the ACATS was done on Tuesday, and Thursday I could buy more. Wells Fargo gets bashed (quite rightly imho) for some of their past behaviour but their execution of basic banking mechanics has so far been quite efficient.I suppose you ACAT FRSXX from Wells to Fidelity? Does Wells charge a partial ACAT fee?
