Not an answer to your original question, but consideration for some of your follow-up comments.

For me, as someone without use of hands, by far the best mouse replacement I've found is: (I think they have a wireless version too)

They have their own software to assign/customize the 4 big buttons I gave found X-Mouse button control to suit me better for button customization. Either program allows you to set the buttons for specific things. The big one for me is the sticky button which makes drag and drop easy. You press the button once and it grabs the item, and when you press again it lets go. So I don't have to manually hold the button while moving the trackball.

Can also find tune the sensitivity of the trackball to help w limited or tiring motion.
