Personal Finance (Not Investing) • Should I switch from Medicare Advantage to traditional Medicare?

The real question is whether I want to pay extra to be on original Medicare with Medigap and Part D.
You should check with an expert to confirm this, but it was my understanding that if you had "credible coverage" from an employer you could defer enrollment in any Medicare Advantage/Medicare Part B and Part D plans without penalty.

There's no cost for Part A, so most of the time those with employer insurance sign up for that part anyway.
