Investing - Theory, News & General • Newbie here: Not clear on ETFs vs Mutual Funds

In my opinion, mutual funds are better because (1) you can invest any amount into them and won't have cash turds left over in your brokerage account, as you do with ETFs, and (2) you don't see the NAV bouncing up and down all day, so you aren't tempted to "day trade" them.
I don't have a problem with #1. I buy all my ETFs in dollar amounts just like I used to do with regular Mutual Funds.
