I rented a Dodge Caravan in Calgary, Canada from Turo. It was my first Turo rental, and I chose Turo because there were no six passenger vehicles available from any of the national rental companies.
The Caravan was about 10 years old with 125k miles on it and it showed. The wear and tear was obvious from the detailed pictures. I had no choice so went with it. It worked out. I would do it again. And the price was half that of any vehicle from the majors.
I’ll definitely consider Turo for future rentals, which will be nicer cars since I only had that one time need for 6 passengers.
