There is no question that the market will drop 50%. The question really is when will the market drop 50%. Will it be tomorrow, next week, next year or sometime later than that? It could be 10 years from now who knows? Since nobody knows it would be prudent to prepare for the possibility. Having some money in treasuries, bonds whatever (in other words diversify) would seem to make since. Sorry I cannot give better advice but my crystal ball is cracked.
