I'm shocked. I had VG DAF and I recall they gave me a value. I'm not sure how otherwise you would choose it. I guess do the multiplication yourself? It's been a lot of years since I used them.Recently switched my DAF from Vanguard to Fidelity. Yes, Vanguard does not value your contributions so have to figure it out yourself. Fidelity does provide a "good faith" fair market value for securities which so far I have found to match exactly my calculations.
