Carmax for me, either buying or selling. They handle the title search, the paperwork for the transfer of ownership and registration with the DMV, so no trip to the DMV, no trips to the bank with the buyer or seller, no wondering if the buyer or seller is legit, no wondering if the odometer has been rolled back or if the vehicle has been in an accident. The price they pay for your car is usually better than a trade in at a dealership and the purchase price is reasonable. They have their on site mechanics check the car out before they buy it for resale. They also have a huge network that can locate the exact vehicle you want and ship it to your location at a relatively low cost.
