You are retiring in a few years, so you should shift to your in retirement portfolio now, so you don't have to sell and convert. You titled it "Set & Forget Portfolio" If that's really what you want, then take time to figure out what your portfolio should be in retirement, and then convert to that and hold for life.It isn't that I am worried about LTCG in terms of supporting us in retirement, it is that I don't want to be in a position where I want to move to something safer and have to sell a large sum and take a large tax hit only to move the funds.
