Using the 4% rule, retired for 12 years at 30/70 and retirement fund is higher than when we started.
Do you mean real or nominal? How does it look in real?
Measured against their own personal inflation rate, or CPI, or published PCE? I've found in retirement our personal inflation rate is lower than CPI.
