CP is a stripped down taxable brokerage account, so you can set TOD beneficiaries the same as you can for a Vanguard taxable brokerage account. The often cited limitations of TOD designations on Vanguard taxable brokerage accounts still are there for CP accounts (e.g. no per stirpes, other owners are beneficiaries on Joint accounts).One aspect important to me, does this new account allow TOD assignments, like other Vanguard accounts? Bank I'm using doesn't have TOD as an option, so this would be a good feature for my needs. Let me know if anyone has experience with that.
